Punjab Health Foundation has managed several key projects, including the Health Management Information System (HMIS) from 2018 to 2024, which focused on healthcare data management. Other major projects include the Stipend Portal for BSN, LHV, PGRs, and House Officers, which involves modules like Registration, Hospital Scrutiny, Account Scrutiny, Attendance, Stipend & Deduction Entry, Finance Wing, and Approving Cheques. The Migration Portal was also managed alongside this. The foundation has overseen the development and upgradation of the Level-3 and Level-4 Induction Portals, refining and enhancing these systems over time. The Centralized Induction Portal for Post RN, LHV, and one-year specialized diplomas, as well as a separate Induction Portal for Nurses(BSN), have been developed to streamline induction processes. The foundation is also involved in the generation of merit lists for Punjab Medical Faculty and nursing portals. Additionally, a program for the medical examination of K.G. and Class One students was Developed, supported by an online portal to manage medical data, including MRN generation.
Induction Portals for Health Professionals
In 2020, the Punjab Health Foundation (PHF) was tasked with managing online inductions for the Level III Post Graduate Program by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department. To accomplish this, PHF developed and maintained dedicated online portals for these inductions. Since then, it has facilitated the induction of over 7,500 postgraduate doctors into the Level III program by processing a total of 30,121 applications.
Following the successful execution of the Level III inductions, the Punjab Health Foundation was given the responsibility for Level IV inductions in 2022. The Foundation efficiently developed, operated, and maintained online portals for these programs as well.
In July 2023, PHF took on the large-scale induction process for the BSN (Generic) morning and evening programs. To date, it has supported the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department in inducting 11,163 nurses by processing 84,282 applications through its dedicated portal.
Additionally, the Punjab Health Foundation is also effectively managing inductions for Post RN, One Year Post Basic Diploma, LHVs, and Punjab Medical Faculty programs.
Centralized Stipend Portal Developed By PHF IT Team

In April 2024, the Punjab Health Foundation was assigned with online management of disbursement of stipends for Post Graduate Doctors (PGRs), Nurses, and Lady Health Visitors (LHVs), with house officers being added to the list later. This ground-breaking initiative by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, delivered by PHF, aims to enhance the convenience and efficiency of stipend distribution. To support this, the Punjab Health Foundation developed, operated, and maintained a dedicated portal, expediting the process to ensure timely monthly stipends for these healthcare professionals. Over the past two months, the Foundation has successfully disbursed 1.64 billion rupees to more than 13,000 healthcare providers.
